Our skilled veterinarians can learn a lot about your dog or cat’s health through a regular hands-on exam. There are many times, though, when they need to look deeper. In those situations, they rely on our state-of-the-art in-house diagnostic equipment. From digital x-ray and in-house laboratory services to abdominal ultrasound and echocardiogram, we have everything we need to perform comprehensive in-house diagnostics.

OUR DIAGNOSTICS SERVICES

We use a wide range of diagnostic tools to diagnose illnesses and injuries and monitor our patients’ ongoing health. Our digital X-ray equipment allows us to examine pets’ bones, ligaments, and organs with minimal radiation exposure. In contrast, our ultrasound equipment is used to peer inside fluid-filled organs, monitor pregnancies, and examine masses. While many local animal hospitals do not have this capability, we are thrilled to be able to perform abdominal ultrasounds in-house. We also perform echocardiograms to examine patients’ hearts.

Our facility also has an in-house laboratory blood testing. We do this to look for signs of specific health problems, such as diabetes and thyroid disease, establish baseline values, and monitor ongoing health in pets of all ages.
